Ocean-maker

Interactive art, 2022

This interactive artwork is a speculative technological device called the “Ocean-maker” which transforms breathing into the sounds of the waves crashing to the shore in real-time enabling a sonic becoming experience.

It is a ritualistic technological device that "the ones who became the ocean" are using, depicting how their ideology and mythology entails technology. Breaths become waves, humans become oceans, the encounter transforms both to become one.

It has been exhibited in The Art Pavilion Mile End Park, London, and in Battersea North Campus Royal College of Art.
